Before construction work can begin, there are a lot of preparations to be made. One of these is time scheduling. Planning the timing of all the work processes on site is a fundamental aspect for the construction of a building. The planners should therefore draw up a realistic time schedule at the beginning of the planning process considering the various trades, the duration of work processes and how these depend on one another. The time schedule must be adhered to at all times. A delay at the beginning of a project can have a knock-on effect and disrupt the entire construction process.
