This course offers an insight into the subject "sustainability in building" and provides the corresponding English terminology. Based on a specific construction project, it not only presents an overview of methods to save energy and develop energy-efficient buildings, it also gives an overview of some of the most significant international certification systems. The contents are complemented by a variety of exercises and listening comprehension tasks.

Competence
On completion of this course, you will have gained an insight into what sustainability means for the development of buildings. Furthermore you will become acquainted with the subject of sustainable buildings in the English language. In terms of grammar, this course especially looks into the future tenses and phrasal verbs.

Length
This course includes a total of 17 pages with four exercises and should be possible to complete in approximately 40 minutes.
